How to automate a Ghost blog with AI

If your blog runs on Ghost, you can put content production on autopilot without switching platforms and without touching your theme. The video runs the whole setup from scratch, in a little over two minutes.

One aside before starting: Automarticles also has its own CMS, and in our tests it came out ahead of WordPress on speed, technical SEO and impressions. Worth considering. But if you want to stay on Ghost, no problem, that is exactly what the integration is for.

First, on the Automarticles side, open your blog, go to Integrations and click Ghost. It asks for two things: the blog link and the Admin API Key.

For the blog link, use only the main address, such as example.ghost.io, or your custom domain. No https:// in front and nothing after the slash, just the domain and subdomain.

Now the key, on the Ghost side:

• In the Ghost dashboard, open Settings.
• Scroll down to Advanced and open Integrations.
• Click to add a custom integration and give it a name, something like "Automarticles".
• It shows a few values. The one you need is the Admin API Key. Copy it.

Back on the Automarticles integrations screen, paste the key and click Verify integration. It takes a few seconds and you are connected.

It is worth understanding the direction: everything you change in Automarticles shows up in Ghost, and what you change in Ghost does not come back. We work like a collaborator inside your blog.

Working from Automarticles, it all travels: scheduling, publishing, unpublishing, swapping images and editing content.

Connecting Ghost does not make the blog run by itself. You still need to switch on the automations, which is what keeps content going out without you having to remember.

• Choose between generating and publishing the article straight away or publishing only after your approval.
• Set up the autoblog: how many posts per week and which topics you want to prioritise.

Once that is on, the blog runs on autopilot.
